Safari Terms and Conditions:
1. Booking Confirmation: A booking with Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris is considered confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit, unless otherwise stated.
2. Payment Policy: The total payment for your safari package is due no later than 60 days prior to the commencement of the tour. Failure to make the payment may result in cancellation of the booking without prior notice.
3. Payment Methods: We accept payments through bank transfers, credit cards, or online payment platforms. Additional charges may apply for credit card payments, which will be clearly communicated during the booking process.
4. Prices: All safari prices are quoted in the currency specified during the booking process and are subject to change without prior notice. Any additional charges or taxes imposed by local authorities will be borne by the traveler.
5. Cancellation by the Traveler: In the event of a cancellation by the traveler, the following cancellation fees will apply:
– More than 60 days before the tour: Loss of deposit
– 30-60 days before the tour: 50% of the total tour cost
– Less than 30 days before the tour: 100% of the total tour cost
6. Cancellation by Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris: While we endeavor to avoid cancellations, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a safari. In such cases, we will provide a full refund of all payments made or offer an alternative tour of similar value. We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by the traveler.
7. Changes to Itinerary: We reserve the right to make changes to the safari itinerary due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, road closures, or safety concerns. We will make every effort to provide suitable alternatives or make necessary adjustments.
8. Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, including medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or delays. Proof of travel insurance may be requested before the commencement of the tour.
9. Health and Safety: Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and fit to participate in the safari activities. Any pre-existing medical conditions or dietary requirements should be communicated to us in advance.
10. Travel Documents: It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they possess valid passports, visas, and any other necessary travel documents required for entry into the destination country. Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris will not be held liable for any issues arising from insufficient or incorrect documentation.
11. Wildlife Viewing: While we strive to provide the best wildlife viewing opportunities, sightings cannot be guaranteed. Wildlife behavior is unpredictable, and factors such as weather conditions and animal movements can impact sightings.
12. Code of Conduct: Travelers are expected to adhere to ethical and responsible behavior during the safari, including respecting wildlife, local communities, and the natural environment. Any illegal activities or behaviors that could harm the ecosystem will not be tolerated.
13. Limitation of Liability: Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused during the safari, unless resulting from negligence on our part. We recommend travelers to secure their personal belongings at all times.
14. Force Majeure: Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, war, terrorism, or government restrictions.
15. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Kilimanjaro Glacier Expert & Safaris is registered. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
